A delicious and healthy twist on traditional banana bread, combining oats and bananas, rich in fiber and nutrients.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup milk or almond milk
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional toppings: nuts, chocolate chips, or additional banana slices
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Add the rolled oats, milk, honey (or maple syrup), baking powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- If desired, sprinkle on some nuts, chocolate chips, or additional banana slices on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure your bananas are ripe for the best sweetness and flavor. You can use quick oats instead of rolled oats if needed.
