Description

A delicious and healthy twist on traditional banana bread, combining oats and bananas, rich in fiber and nutrients.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional toppings: nuts, chocolate chips, or additional banana slices


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Add the rolled oats, milk, honey (or maple syrup), baking powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. If desired, sprinkle on some nuts, chocolate chips, or additional banana slices on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure your bananas are ripe for the best sweetness and flavor. You can use quick oats instead of rolled oats if needed.
