Description

Delightful bite-sized stuffing balls infused with the flavors of sage and cranberries, perfect for Thanksgiving.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups stale bread, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon sage, chopped
  • 1 cup cranberries, dried
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and celery, then sauté until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine stale bread, sautéed vegetables, sage, cranberries, salt, and pepper.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth, mixing until the mixture is moist but not soggy.
  5. Form the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
