A delicious blend of pineapple and teriyaki sauce with tender chicken, cooked effortlessly in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 bell pepper (red, yellow, or green), sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
- Add the pineapple chunks, teriyaki sauce, sliced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, uncover the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking. You can add red pepper flakes or jalapeños for extra heat.
