Description

Sweet Chili Meatballs are a deliciously easy dish with a unique sweet and spicy flavor, perfect for gatherings or a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the Crockpot.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the Crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use lean ground beef for a healthier option. Adjust the spice level with more or less sweet chili sauce. Adding chopped garlic or ginger can enhance flavor.
