Description

Spicy Tuna Rice Balls are a delicious and customizable treat that brings sushi flavors to your home. Perfect for snacks, lunch, or picnics.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 4 sheets roasted seaweed (nori)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the tuna, Kewpie mayonnaise, sriracha, green onions, and salt until well combined.
  2. Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking, then take a handful of rice (about 1/2 cup) and mold it into a triangle shape.
  3. Make a small indentation in the center of the rice triangle and fill it with the spicy tuna mixture.
  4. Close the rice around the filling and reshape it into a triangle if needed.
  5. Wrap with a strip of roasted seaweed.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Serve immediately or pack for a snack or picnic.

Notes

For the best texture, use sticky short-grain rice. Adjust the sriracha for your preferred spice level.
