Description

Soft and indulgent pancakes packed with savory ham and melted cheese, perfect for brunch.


Ingredients

  • 130 g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 110 ml of skim milk
  • 1 plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 5 to 10 slices of cheese (according to your taste)


Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting ham and cheese into small pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, skim milk, and yogurt. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour a ladle of batter onto the skillet, then add a few pieces of ham and cheese on top. Cover with another ladle of batter.
  5. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  6. Once cooked, place the pancakes on a plate and keep warm while cooking the rest.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses and meats for variety. Serve warm with fresh herbs or yogurt.
