Description

Quick and easy sautéed green beans that are crunchy and flavorful. Perfect as a side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Rinse the green beans under cold water and trim the ends.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the green beans to the skillet, stirring well to coat them in oil and garlic.
  5. Cook the green beans for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender but still crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, give it a final stir, and remove from heat.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle with toasted nuts or grated cheese before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
