Description

A simple and satisfying creamy mac and cheese that’s perfect for busy days and minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the elbow macaroni and a pinch of salt to the boiling water. Cook for about 8 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
  3. Drain any excess water if needed.
  4. Lower the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix everything well until the cheese melts and the mixture becomes creamy.
  6. Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then serve hot.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use a mix of different cheeses like mozzarella or gouda along with cheddar. You can add veggies like broccoli or spinach for added nutrition.
