Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the elbow macaroni and a pinch of salt to the boiling water. Cook for about 8 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
- Drain any excess water if needed.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything well until the cheese melts and the mixture becomes creamy.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
For a creamier texture, use a mix of different cheeses like mozzarella or gouda along with cheddar. You can add veggies like broccoli or spinach for added nutrition.
