Description

A delightful dish combining tender beef with colorful bell peppers and onions in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weekdays or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced into strips
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced (any color)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the sliced beef in the Crock Pot, followed by the bell peppers and onions.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the meat and vegetables.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  5. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add it to thicken the sauce in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef strips in the sauce mixture for a few hours before cooking. Feel free to add other vegetables for added nutrition.
