Description

A delightful dessert combining the creaminess of cheesecake with the nutty sweetness of pecan pie, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together until blended well. Press this mixture into the bottom of the pan to form a crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
  5. In another bowl, combine the chopped pecans, corn syrup, and brown sugar. Pour this mixture over the cheesecake batter.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the cheesecake is set. Let it cool completely before serving.
