Description

A delicious and easy side dish featuring tender green beans roasted with flavorful Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Wash the green beans thoroughly and trim both ends. Pat them dry completely.
  2. Toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans and toss gently.
  4. Spread the green beans evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  5. Roast at 425°F (220°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
