Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash the green beans thoroughly and trim both ends. Pat them dry completely.
- Toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans and toss gently.
- Spread the green beans evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
- Roast at 425°F (220°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
Notes
Make sure to dry green beans thoroughly to prevent steaming. Feel free to customize with additional ingredients like sliced almonds or cherry tomatoes.
