A delightful dessert that combines classic pumpkin pie flavors with rich caramel, perfect for fall gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pre-made pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the pie before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
