Description

Delicious and nutritious snack bars made with oats, nuts, and dried fruits, perfect for a quick breakfast or treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of almond butter
  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup of mixed nuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup of dried fruit (like cranberries or raisins)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, honey, almond butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
  2. Add in the chia seeds, chopped nuts, dried fruit, and salt. Stir until everything is mixed well.
  3. Line a dish with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Press the mixture down firmly using your hands or a spatula to make it compact.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to set.
  6. Once set, cut into bars or squares.

Notes

These bars can be customized with different nut butters and add-ins like chocolate chips or seeds. Store in an airtight container.
