Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
Instructions

- Make a well in the middle of the dry mix. Add the wet ingredients: the egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Lightly whisk the batter together until just mixed. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Heat on medium-high.
- Add 1/4 cup of pancake batter to the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges are dry.
- Flip the pancake and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot with butter, powdered sugar, and maple syrup.
Notes
Do not overmix the batter for best results. For extra fluffiness, let the batter rest longer.
