  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 cup shrimp tempura (cooked)
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into small pieces
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  4. In another bowl, combine the shredded crab meat, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce. Mix well.
  5. In a baking dish, spread the sushi rice evenly at the bottom. Top with the crab mixture, followed by the shrimp tempura.
  6. Sprinkle the nori pieces over the top and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your sushi bake!

Notes

Best served warm from the oven. Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor.
