Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 lb imitation crab meat, shredded
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 cup shrimp tempura (cooked)
- 2 sheets nori, cut into small pieces
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Once the rice is cooked, fold this mixture into the rice and let it cool.
- In another bowl, combine the shredded crab meat, mayonnaise, and sriracha sauce. Mix well.
- In a baking dish, spread the sushi rice evenly at the bottom. Top with the crab mixture, followed by the shrimp tempura.
- Sprinkle the nori pieces over the top and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm and enjoy your sushi bake!

Best served warm from the oven. Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor.
