  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in the milk and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour in the batter to form pancakes.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.

Notes

For fluffier pancakes, let the batter sit for a few minutes before cooking. Adjust skillet heat as needed to avoid burning.
