A quick and easy crockpot recipe for delicious teriyaki chicken, perfect for busy days.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
- Add the broccoli and bell peppers on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix everything together.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for a few hours before cooking. You can also use frozen chicken breasts, just increase cooking time by an hour.
