Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup cold butter, diced
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 cup peeled and diced apples
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
- Add the diced butter and work it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
