Description

A simple yet delicious dish that combines tender chicken with creamy sauce and sundried tomatoes, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sundried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

For even more flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sundried tomato mixture for a few hours before cooking. Remove the lid during the last hour of cooking for a thicker sauce.
