A simple yet delicious dish that combines tender chicken with creamy sauce and sundried tomatoes, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the sundried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the Parmesan cheese.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes and garnish with fresh basil.
Notes
For even more flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sundried tomato mixture for a few hours before cooking. Remove the lid during the last hour of cooking for a thicker sauce.
