Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups diced potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or bacon for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
- In the crockpot, add the browned beef, diced potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, and beef broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream and cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions or bacon if desired.
