A comforting soup combining ground beef, potatoes, and rich cream, perfect for chilly days.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  2. Add the browned beef, diced potatoes, and chopped onion to the crockpot.
  3. Pour in the beef broth, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or high for 240 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese before serving.

Notes
