Description

A hearty and flavorful beef stew made in a crockpot, perfect for busy days and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large crockpot, add the beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes (8 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
  4. Before serving, remove the bay leaf and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm.
