Description

A delightful treat that combines the rich creaminess of cheesecake with sweet apples and caramel, perfect for gatherings or family dessert nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully blended.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon into the cheesecake mixture, then pour it over the crust in the baking pan.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture and swirl it gently with a knife.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.
  8. Serve with additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing for a smoother texture. Firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp are ideal. Drizzle caramel sauce just before serving for the best result.
