Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, bourbon, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the bourbon chicken hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
