Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, bourbon, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
