Ingredients

  • 5 cups of apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place the sliced apples into a 9×9 baking dish, spreading them evenly.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of light brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, and 2 tablespoons of water until smooth, then pour over the apples.
  4. In another bowl, combine 1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats, 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Mix in the melted unsalted butter until crumbly.
