Description
A quick and healthy fruit smoothie bowl made with Greek yogurt, perfect for busy mornings or a nutritious snack.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/3 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- Sliced strawberries (for topping)
- Sliced bananas (for topping)
- Fresh blueberries (for topping)
- Granola (for topping)
- Shredded coconut (for topping)
- Slivered almonds (for topping)
- Chopped walnuts (for topping)
- Chia seeds (for topping)
- Sunflower seeds (for topping)
Instructions
- Chop the banana into 1-inch pieces and freeze for at least 1-2 hours, or overnight if possible.
- Add the frozen banana pieces, frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple chunks, and Greek yogurt to a food processor fitted with a standard S blade. Process for 2-4 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides with a plastic spatula as needed.
- Once everything is well mixed and smooth, scoop the mixture into individual bowls. Add any desired toppings, and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day, keeping toppings separate until serving.
